CMU Tech's Job Signing Day event on May 1 served as a celebration of student achievements and the fruitful partnerships between CMU and various industry leaders.
This semester, CMU Tech is proud to acknowledge nearly 70% of students are employed prior to graduation and over 100 students have received a job or promotion in their field in the last 6 months. To commemorate their accomplishments, 32 students and their respective employers gathered to publicly sign a letter of intent. This event was a time to celebrate the hard work that’s gone in to ensuring students have the skills necessary to successfully complete their education, secure employment or receive a promotion. It's also a time to thank the employers for their investment in students.
Job Signing Day highlighted the diverse career paths pursued by CMU Tech students, including roles in aviation technology, early childhood education, transportation services, veterinary technology, welding and wildland fire management.
